How it works
The Tern craft ice cream maker is different because of its patented fast-freeze technology. After the bowl is frozen in the freezer, the machine spins it and evenly spreads the ice cream mix on the freezing surface thereby lowering the temperature of the mixture as quickly as possible. The churning paddle is then used to scrape and mix for about 5 minutes, until the ice cream is smooth and dense.
